Troubleshooting Magic Link Problems
Common issues with magic-link authentication and how to resolve them.
If you're having trouble receiving or using magic links, this guide covers the most common issues and solutions.
Email Not Arriving
Check your spam or junk folder. Email filters sometimes flag automated emails. Add noreply@talentscreens.org to your contacts to prevent filtering.
Wait 2-3 minutes before requesting another link. Email delivery can be delayed during peak hours.
Verify you entered the correct email address. Typos are the most common cause of missing emails.
If you still don't receive the email after 5 minutes, contact support. Your email provider may be blocking our messages.
Link Expired or Already Used
Magic links expire after 60 minutes for security. Request a new link from the login page.
Each link can only be used once. If you clicked it already, request a fresh link.
Wrong Account Type
If you signed up as a Candidate but need an Employer account (or vice versa), you must use a different email address or contact support to change your account type.
