Create and manage API keys for programmatic access
API keys grant programmatic access to TalentScreen. Use them to build custom integrations, fetch candidate data, trigger assessments, and automate workflows.
Navigate to Settings > Integrations > API Keys
Access API key management
Click 'Create API Key'
Start the creation wizard
Name the key
Descriptive label (e.g., 'Production Server')
Select scopes
Grant only necessary permissions
Copy the key
Displayed once - store securely
Save the key in your application
Use in Authorization header
API keys are secrets. Never commit them to version control, expose them in client-side code, or share them publicly. Rotate keys regularly and immediately revoke compromised keys.
API keys are only shown once during creation. If you lose a key, revoke it and create a new one.
