Webcam or Microphone Not Working

Troubleshoot camera and audio permissions for video interviews

Webcam and microphone failures are usually caused by browser permissions or hardware conflicts.

Granting Permissions

When prompted, click Allow to grant camera and microphone access. If you denied access, click the lock icon in the browser address bar and enable permissions manually. Refresh the page after changing permissions.

Hardware Issues

Ensure no other application (Zoom, Teams) is using the camera. Test hardware at webcamtests.com. Try a different browser or device if the problem persists.

Video interviews require Chrome, Edge, or Safari. Firefox may have compatibility issues.
