How the AI evaluates candidate responses
The AI scores interviews across multiple dimensions: communication clarity, response depth, relevance, sentiment, and custom criteria you define. Scores are weighted and combined into an overall AI interview score.
| Dimension | What It Measures | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Clarity | How well-structured and understandable responses are | 20% |
| Depth | Level of detail and thoughtfulness | 25% |
| Relevance | How well responses answer the question | 25% |
| Sentiment | Positivity, enthusiasm, professionalism | 15% |
| Custom Criteria | Role-specific factors you define | 15% |
Define custom criteria in the template settings. For example, a sales role might score persuasiveness, objection handling, and customer focus. Each criterion gets a 0-100 score and contributes to the overall grade.
AI scores are calibrated against thousands of interviews. A score of 75 puts a candidate in the top 30% of all interviewees.
