How to navigate the TalentScreen interface
TalentScreen's interface is designed for efficiency and clarity. This guide explains how to navigate the platform, where to find key features, and how to use search and filtering.
The primary navigation bar appears at the top of every page. It contains links to the main sections of the platform.
Breadcrumbs
Use the breadcrumb trail below the navigation bar to see where you are and quickly jump back to parent pages.
Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) to open the command palette. Type to search for pages, assessments, candidates, or actions. This is the fastest way to navigate when you know what you're looking for.
Open command palette
Press Cmd/Ctrl + K from anywhere in the platform.
Start typing
Enter keywords like 'create assessment', 'candidate results', or a candidate's name.
Select result
Use arrow keys to navigate results, press Enter to open.
Most list views (Assessments, Candidates, Analytics) include search and filter controls at the top of the page.
The dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of your organization's activity. Widgets are customizable based on your role.
On mobile devices, the navigation collapses into a hamburger menu in the top-left corner. Tap to expand and access all main sections. The command palette is also available on mobile via the search icon.
Admins can customize which navigation items appear for different roles in Settings > Organization > Navigation.
